Question on TrueBasic capabilities

I am thinking about using TrueBasic as my development environment but need some information on its capabilities. My thinking is as follows.

Use Forms Builder and associated code to create a web based input form with data validation, some simple calculated fields, and save the data to a database; maybe SQLite or similar. The program would call a central database for user authentication and to get system configuration data. The end program must be compiled to prevent casual interference.

Use Forms Builder and associated code to create a server based back end program; called from the web based program; that does the heavy lifting, data manipulations, calculations and reports via an SQL database engine. The end program must be compiled to prevent casual interference.

I currently use a couple of development environments which are very good but the result is a set of programs that contain a proprietary element that exposes me to risk from future changes. Before I plonk down more money I need to be sure that whatever I buy will do the job. I am invalid, approaching retirement age, teaching myself programming and have to be very careful with my money.

Any advice on capabilities would be greatly appreciated.
