Event Loop or Keyboard Polling seems to use extreme resources

With the TBEditor sitting idle with no source in the main window the system resources (cpu percent activity, etc) goes nuts. This situation remains the entire time the editor is open and goes away once the editor is closed.

This seems to be a poorly written event loop or a 1980's style keyboard polling routine that hammers away rather than waiting patiently for an event with a call-back; just seems unnecessary. Seems to be similar to the TBSTANDARD.TRU event loop.

PS Is anyone out there ??
