Running in the background

I am making a game which is in need of a timer. I have the basic structure, but when I finished it, I figured out it would not run like I had hoped.

You can use the internal computer clock and the TIME function.

let t1 = time

!then back to your main code, but periodically you can go to a subroutine like:

sub timer(t1,dt)
let t2 = time
let dt = t2 - t1
end sub

dt then holds the elapsed time. Not knowing exactly what you want timed, I can't be of more help, but you should be able to use some variation of the above.
